The program runs June 25 - July 25, 2023. Prior to the program, staff will work on planning and will attend orientation on June 22-24. This summer our program will run at the Labadorf Learning Center on the HI4Y campus in West Milford, NJ. Madrichot and babysitter should expect to live on-site for the entirety of the program.

Madrichot are women responsible for the wellbeing of all participants as well as planning and implementing all extracurricular activities. This includes shabbat programming, night activities, dorm life, supervision and the general well-being of our students. Madrichot are also strongly encouraged to learn with and take part in life in the beit midrash with the girls.
Qualifications
Warm, friendly, caring individual who enjoys working with teenagers
Have completed at least one year of university (or two years post-high school)
Creative, energetic, organized and able to stay calm under pressure
Experience planning and executing programmatic ideas
Experience working with teenage girls and a strong background in Jewish texts a plus
Pay
Madrichot are paid $1500 in addition to housing and food for the duration of the program. As a bonus, Madrichot are allocated $200 each in reimbursements for travel, food, recreation, etc. during their days off.
The food coordinator ensures that all participants in the program have access to healthy and delicious meals three times a day plus snacks. The food coordinator will be in charge of menu planning, ordering food and supplies, sticking to and keeping careful track of a budget, and making sure that the kitchen is kashered and kept meticulously clean to avoid issues with animals or bugs. The full program runs June 25-July 25, the food coordinator will oversee the kashering of the kitchen on June 22 and provide food for staff orientation on June 22-24 in addition to full food for the duration of the program.
Qualifications:
Experience preparing delicious kosher food and being mindful of allergies and food preferences such as vegan and gluten free
Experience in the kosher food industry including preparing food for Shabbat and overseeing the kashering of an industrial kitchen
Experience sourcing budget-friendly and healthy food and food preparation materials
Knowledgeable about food safety
Licensed to drive, insured and, ideally, have access to a vehicle

The Drisha Summer Middle School Program is a three week sleepaway learning opportunity for motivated middle school students in West Milfrod, NJ at the Hands In 4 Youth campus. The camp aims to empower, inspire, and excite our talmidot to continue on their path of learning Torah.
A unique component of the Middle School Program is its relationship with the Dr. Beth Samuels Drisha High School Program. The high school program will start one week prior to the middle school program, so that the middle schoolers will be diving into a buzzing Beit Midrash.
The Drisha Summer Middle School Program will run from July 2nd -20th 2023. The madrichot will be asked to come up by the Thursday night before on June 29th to acclimate to the camp environment and for staff training.

Drisha is looking for a passionate and engaging educator to teach their night seder class in aggadeta from the dates July 2nd-20th.
This educator will split up the one hour slot between text based chavruta learning and a facilitated discussion. Ideally this educator will be in-residence for the entire program, being present at tefillot, meals and the beit midrash.
